Ras Al Khaimah Economic City (RAKIA) has announced that it has been authorized to license business centers in the emirate as part of several recent initiatives to improve the business environment by providing outstanding services to the business community.
Mohammed Al Mahmoud, deputy director general of the department, said that the business centers are an office with a large area that can be divided from inside to open, semi-closed or completely closed areas, or cut from the inside with dividers that offer privacy, allowing them to be leased as administrative offices, Provide all secretarial services and provide administrative support and support to customers all the requirements of support and telecommunications services and office equipment.
Al-Mahmoud added that a set of controls have been put in place to regulate the work of the business centers, the most important of which is that the area should not be less than 3,800 square feet. It should be divided between administrative offices, facilities and corridors. The license period should not be less than two years and the licenses issued by the number of offices Approved in Business Center Planner.
And that the legal form of the Center shall be limited to (individual institution – LLC). The legal forms that may be licensed within the center are limited to: (an individual institution – a limited liability company – a one-person company – citizen services agent – civil works company) and other controls and requirements that ensure the implementation of the initiative on the ground in order to achieve the desired objectives.
Al-Mahmoud said that among the permitted activities in the business centers: consulting of all kinds and real estate services, all brokerage activities, audit and accounting activities, and other activities that do not require prior approvals and often rely on intellectual effort and a limited number of employment and can be determined by the Department of Control and Trade Protection In the circle.
