Emirates Aluminum receives the International Automotive Task Force certification

 Emirates International Aluminum Company (ENEC) has been awarded the ISO 16494: 2016 standard, placing it in a more stringent position in its global supply chain. It is one of the few companies producing aluminum, which is certified by ISO / TS 16949 in the supply chain in the automotive industry, which was established in 1999 and was modified in 2009. “As a major supplier of aluminum metal to automotive manufacturers, we have welcomed the development of this new standard aimed at ensuring quality in the supply chain and we are delighted to have the company officially adopted,” said Abdulla Jassim Bin Kalban, CEO and Managing Director. The “IATF 16949: 2016” standard aims to reduce damage and losses in all areas of the automotive supply process and provides for continuous improvement, emphasizes defect prevention and promotes waste reduction in the entire automotive supply chain.
