Media competition

Not for a short time I did not find in my daily research on the Internet a site that I consider the main source of economic and business news, and I talk here about the Middle East and the Arab world in particular. News outlets in the Arab world adopt a diversification of publishing outputs between politics, religion, entertainment, arts, sport, and economics. In the absence of specialization in the field of economic media, we found in “Media IN” that it is a golden opportunity to create a news site specializing in economic and trade news, attracting investors interested in investment opportunities available in the Arab world. And due to the fact that the best investment opportunities in the Arab world are in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, we have followed up and monitored the major media of those countries so we can be always ready to compete.

In the UAE, the media is very sophisticated and is in line with the latest technologies of high quality, making it very difficult to compete with the material and scientific capabilities available in giant media organizations such as Abu Dhabi Media, Dubai Media Incorporated and other media organizations. However, the failure of these institutions to rely on specialization as a platform to direct their media messages, especially in the field of economic media, provided the opportunity for private news sites to distinguish, which makes them influential on the course of the economy.

According to our classification of the most important daily electronic newspapers in the Arab world, we look at “Al Ittihad” an UAE newspaper as the most competitive sites that we must follow on a daily basis because we share a large part of the followers and distinguished by maintaining the credibility and neutrality in the dissemination of economic culture. The change of the chief editor of “Al Ittihad” newspaper is one of the most important changes in the newspaper in the current period. Within a month of that change, “Al Ittihad” updated its website beautifully and competitively. We will not be able to minimize those changes, although it has negatively affected the number of our readers this month from within the UAE. As we at “Media IN” we follow up and monitor the flow of followers of our site through the global tracking tools provided by the giant “Google”, we found that a large percentage of the variables in the number of followers of our site occurred in the period in which “Al Ittihad” newspaper updated their website. It is not logical to ignore these indicators, which, while negative to us and positive to the nearest competitors, are competitive indicators that we must remedy their output to provide the best.

Media competition in the field of economic has not had a presence on the ground in the past period. The best measure of the lack of competitiveness in the field of economic media is the output of the Arab Press Award in Dubai, which this year saw remarkable participation in thirteen of the 14 categories of the prize. The “economic journalism class” remained unnamed to be the primary objective of “Media IN” in the next of future competitions and entitlements. We would like to congratulate the changes in “Al Ittihad” newspaper, so they will never forget that competition continues between us to attract the largest number of their readers. In the end, our goal is to spread economic culture to a credible economy under our wise leadership who encourages creativity and innovation and accepts only the best.
