    Sharjah, July 25 / The annual report on the movement of real estate transactions in the regions and cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, which was recently issued by the Real Estate Registration Department in the emirate, revealed a great boom in this sector outside the city of Sharjah during the first half of this year, as the volume of cash circulation in the central and eastern regions reached 549.4 million dirhams, through the department’s four branches in “Al Wusta”, and the cities of Khorfakkan, Dibba Al Hisn, and Kalba. In terms of the number of real estate transactions executed in the aforementioned branches for the same period, it amounted to 14,195 transactions, representing 34.8% of the total transactions executed in the emirate, while the total area traded in sales transactions amounted to 15.1 million square feet. Omar Al Mansouri, Director of the Branches Department at the Real Estate Registration Department in Sharjah, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the real estate sector is witnessing a thriving growth in various cities and regions of the emirate, thanks to the large incentive packages and facilities that the Sharjah government is keen to provide and provide to investors from inside and outside the country, in addition to the advanced infrastructure in the eastern and central regions and the major development projects that the government has implemented in these two regions during the past years, under the guidance of our wise leadership, which included road projects, infrastructure, hotels and a resort. tourism, heritage and environment sectors, which reflected positively on the prosperity, growth and development of real estate transactions in them during the first half of this year. Al-Mansoori explained that the trading volume in the four branches accounted for 4.1% of the total trading volume in the real estate sector in the emirate during the first half of 2023, as the total cash trading volume in the central region amounted to 231 million dirhams, while it reached 185.4 million dirhams in the city of Khorfakkan, 120 million dirhams in the city of Kalba, and about 13 million dirhams in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn. The number of sales transactions in the central region during the first half of this year reached 197 transactions that took place in 32 different regions with a total value of 173 million dirhams. Al Qasimia City acquired the largest part of them with 85 transactions, accounting for 43.1% of the total sales transactions, followed by Al Thumama region with 15 transactions, then the Tawa Hamda and Al Blida regions with 10 transactions each. The number of transactions in the city of Kalba amounted to 98 transactions that took place in 21 regions with a total value of 54.1 million dirhams, 21 of which were recorded in the industrial area at a rate of 21.4% of the total sale transactions in the city, followed by the Kalba industrial area with 18 transactions, then the Al-Saf region with 11 transactions. The number of transactions in the city of Khorfakkan reached 84 transactions in 24 areas of the city, with a value of 67.5 million dirhams, of which 12 transactions were in the Al-Mudifi area, accounting for 14.3% of the total sale transactions in the city, followed by the Al-Haray commercial area with 10 transactions, then the Industrial Al-Haray and Al-Bardi 2 areas with 9 transactions each. The sales transactions in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn were distributed among 3 regions, with 14 transactions at a value of 9 million dirhams, 57.1% of which took place in the Al-Shamali district, with 8 transactions.
