“Securities”: Friday is a holiday for the financial markets on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday

The Securities and Commodities Authority announced that the holiday for the financial markets in the country, on the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday, will be on Friday, September 29, 2023, with official working hours resuming on Monday, October 2, 2023.

 

 

 

 

The authority added in today’s circular that its decision comes based on the circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources No. (10) of 2023 AD, regarding the Prophet’s Birthday holiday for the year 1445 AH, for ministries and federal agencies in the country. After coordination with the financial markets.

 

 

 

 

The Authority stated that as for the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange, it will continue to operate during the aforementioned holiday period, and trading hours will be as usual.
