An increase of 63%… Expo Sharjah is preparing to host 18 exhibitions during the last quarter of 2023

Sharjah Expo Center has confirmed its readiness to host and organize a season full of local, regional and international events that will be held during the last quarter of 2023 at Expo Sharjah and its affiliated centers in Khorfakkan and Al Dhaid.

The events agenda includes 18 economic, commercial and cultural exhibitions, an increase of 63% compared to the same period last year, which amounted to 11 exhibitions and events. A pioneer for exhibitions and conferences.

The most prominent exhibitions and events, which will start their first activities on September 27, and the last of which will conclude on January 1, 2024, include the 52nd edition of the “Middle East Watch and Jewelery Exhibition”, the “Gulf Paint Exhibition”, the “National Employment Exhibition”, the “International Education” exhibition and the “Sharjah International Book Fair”. The Sharjah Expo agenda for the coming period is also full of 5 specialized quality events and exhibitions organized for the first time in the Emirate of Sharjah, most notably the “Emirates Perfumes and Oud” exhibition, which will be held from 6 to 14 October 2023, and the trade exhibition to be organized from 21 to 22 November. 2023.

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Expo Center Sharjah, stressed that strengthening the exhibition sector is an essential part of the sustainable economic development plans for the Emirate of Sharjah, based on the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. And the developmental approach of the government of the Emirate of Sharjah, which foresaw the importance of this industry and supported it as one of the most important sectors that attract and support industrial, commercial and stimulating investments for the tourism and hospitality sector. Enabling it to make an effective contribution to supporting all economic sectors, revitalizing tourism and diversifying sources of income, as well as introducing the emirate’s achievements in various fields of development and life in general.

For his part, His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah, indicated that the year 2023 was eventful for the exhibitions and conferences sector in the Emirate of Sharjah, as it achieved unprecedented growth and strengthened the position of the Emirate of Sharjah as a global destination for the exhibitions sector and business tourism, especially in light of the momentum of the activities witnessed by Expo Sharjah, which It has become a leading regional platform for organizing and hosting major exhibitions, stressing the Center’s keenness to continue this momentum and achieve diversity and inclusiveness in its agenda during the last quarter of this year, in order to ensure the upgrading of the role of the exhibition industry in enhancing the economic, social and cultural performance of the Emirate of Sharjah at various levels, stressing the readiness of Expo Sharjah to receive visitors. and exhibitors from all over the world, and his keenness to implement the best international practices adopted in organizing exhibitions, which would ensure the success of these events and meet the aspirations of exhibitors and visitors alike.

The agenda of the Sharjah Expo Center for the last quarter of 2023 is distinguished by a number of qualitative, specialized and supportive exhibitions for the construction and retail sectors, most notably the International Building, Architecture and Design Exhibition, which will be held for the first time this year between October 9 and 11, in addition to organizing the Gulf Paint Exhibition during the same period, along with A number of exhibitions and trade events, including the Big Shopping Discounts Exhibition, Furniture 360 Exhibition and the Winter Clearance Exhibition to be organized from 22 to 31 December.

The agenda of the Al Dhaid Expo Center for the coming period also includes a number of events and various activities, most notably the “Al Asayel Festival” for services and equipment for horses, camels and falcons, the Al Dhaid Agricultural Exhibition, the Camping and Adventure Exhibition, and the Emirates Jewels Exhibition, while the Khorfakkan Expo Center will witness the organization of a number of exhibitions during the last quarter of 2023. The most prominent of which are the “Perfume Exhibition”, “Khor Fakkan Real Estate” and “The Bride of the East Exhibition”.
