Tomorrow… UAE boats will compete in the “Speed Challenge” in the Formula 1 World Cup in Italy

The best time race and speed challenge in the fourth round of the Formula 1 World Boat Championship will begin tomorrow in the city of Olbia, Italy, with the participation of Emirati stars in the Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Victory teams, and the best champions in the world.

 

The defending champion Abu Dhabi team, with its champions Thani Al Qamzi and Rashid Al Qamzi, is participating to continue the challenge to collect points to remain in the competition for the top spot in the overall standings.

 

Al Qamzi’s second aboard the Abu Dhabi 2 boat is currently in fifth place in the overall standings with 19 points, and the Swedish champion Jonas Andersson, who holds the title in 2021, leads the overall standings with 43 points.

 

Thani Al Qamzi stressed: “The path to the title begins from the sprint stage, and I will give my best to achieve the desired result, and the focus must be high, because it will be very precise.”

 

He explained that Rashid Al Qamzi’s joining to compete in Formula 1 races constitutes a strong addition to the team, after he proved his worth in Formula 2, especially since he has a lot to offer in Formula 1 races.
