The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center announced, on Monday, the successful return of astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi to Earth after completing the longest space mission in Arab history, which lasted 6 months.

The spacecraft separated from the International Space Station at 3:05 UAE time, Sunday, September 3, and landed on the coast of Jacksonville, Florida, USA, at 8:17 AM UAE time (Monday).

His Highness, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, praised the tireless efforts behind this historic achievement, which was achieved with the hands and minds of the people of the Emirates. For his part, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, congratulated astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi on the safe arrival at the end of his historic journey to the International Space Station, noting the important scientific experiments he carried out during That period was in cooperation with the mission crew, international space agencies, and Emirati and international universities and research centers. Sultan Al Neyadi was received on board the recovery ship and upon his exit from the space capsule by: Adnan Al Rayes, Director of the Zayed 2 Ambition Mission, Emirates Astronaut Programme, Dr. Hanan Al Suwaidi, Astronaut Physician, and Saeed Al Emadi, from the Strategic Communications Department at the Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Centre.
