Dubai International Airport is the largest in the world during October with 4.9 million seats

Dubai International Airport maintained its first position in the world as the largest international airport in terms of scheduled seat capacity on international flights during the month of October, according to a report by OAG, which specializes in aviation data.

Monthly data indicated that the total number of scheduled seats on international flights through Dubai International Airport reached about 4.9 million seats during this October, a growth of 4.5% compared to 4.7 million scheduled seats last September.

She added that London Heathrow Airport came in second place, with about 4.1 million seats, but it is 19% less than the total number of seats at Dubai International Airport, which occupies first place.

 

 

 

 

 

She explained that Amsterdam Airport came in third place with about 3.48 million scheduled seats, then in fourth place was Paris Airport with 3.3 million scheduled seats.

The corporation indicated that Dubai International Airport maintained its position as the second largest airport in the world in terms of total domestic and international seat capacity together, after the American Atlanta Airport, with a difference of less than 500 thousand seats, after the American airport recorded about 5.36 million seats, then Tokyo Airport in Third place with about 4.59 million seats.
